If you´re searching for this issue try to find it at www.ebay.com or contact me and perhaps I can help you finding one copy.
This is an official release by EMI, but it was never available commercially
It was originally available as a limited edition and just given away when you purchased a new dvd-player
Luckily I have this issue and I can recommend it because of the improvement of the sound quality (most of all on Greatest Flix 2)!
Unfortunately it´s very hard to find these days and if you´re a lucky owner of this DVD it´s worth around $150!

Queen- We will rock you

cover: French code 2 DVD

notes:
I have this issue and can recommend it as it´s a very good restored version of  Metropolis with an Orchestral soundtrack
If you´re interested in this issue you can find it for example at www.fnac.com

Important note to anyone considering buying Metropolis on DVD:
The versions released by Madacy, CMH/Xoom, and Eureka are not recommended by many people, since they all are reported to
(1) have bad image quality;
(2) have an inadequate soundtrack;
(3) be very incomplete (many scenes found in Moroder's or in Munich's restored versions are missing in them).

The only DVD version that could be considered worth buying would be the French one released by Film sans Frontieres.
However, this version has French captions

planned:
A new Metropolis DVD with both the new 2001 restord version
AND the 1984 Moroder version (with Freddie Mercury, Adam Ant and more)!
