· The “Purple Maze” is a stand-alone distortion pedal suitable for most guitars and amplifiers and offers great flexibility in its use,
being at it s best both at bedroom practice levels and also at louder stage volume levels. Foot switchable on/off.

· The “Purple Maze” design origins stem from Brian May’s legendary Deacy Amp, and will produce a very Deacy-like sound
when the “Purple Maze’s” level control is set low.

· At one end of it’s tonal range the “Purple Maze” produces the classic Jimi Hendrix “raw-yet-rich” Fuzz Face through Marshall amp sound,
whilst at the other end of the range is produced the unmistakable rich sweet tones of the Brian May sound, whilst always
retaining the Hendrix raw, distorted nature.

· The “Purple Maze” works very effectively as an amplifier simulator when plugged straight into home recording portable studio equipment.

· Like the Brian May Fryer “Mayhem” overdrive, it offers unique Clean Crunch as the guitar’s volume control is turned down and
responds very amp-like to different strengths of playing attack.

· Germanium and Silicone transistors are hand selected and are evaluated for superior tonal, noise and gain characteristics.
