Brian May Fryer Treble Booster
Colour: Dark Red
This is used in line between guitar and
amplifier
with overall volume controlled from the guitar.
The Brian May Fryer Treble Booster is a
development
from the earlier Cornish pedal and is very different
in sound and circuit design to the Guild Treble
Booster or any others claiming to be the Brian May Treble Booster
"Ringmaster" Pedal
Our version of Brian May’s original
Rangemaster
Germanium Transistor Treble Booster pedal which he used up until mid
1974
Ltd Edition Colour: Purple
"Mayhem" Overdrive Pedal
colour: red
When used with the BM Fryer Treble Booster
first
in line, this pedal gives the full volume Vox AC30 Brian May
sound but at much lower amplifier levels.
When "Mayhem" volume control is wound down low,
this produces the "Deacy Amp" sound.
Designed for Vox AC30 Normal channel.
A different concept and circuit design to any
overdrive/ distortion pedal on the market, the "Mayhem" behaves
amp-like to give flexible range of clean-crunch
as guitar’s volume control is wound down, as well as genuine
saturated amp overdriven harmonics when guitar
volume control is increased.

NEW BRIAN MAY PRODUCTS BY GREG FRYER:
“Brian May Fryer Treble Booster Plus”
Designed to produce the richer, fatter, more sustained sound of
Brian
May’s 1976-79 sound.
Overdrives the Vox AC30 more than the standard Brian May Fryer Treble
Booster.
BMTB Plus works extremely well driving either Red or Blue Mayhem
overdrive
pedals.
Omeg UK 220K Log B Potentiometers
(Same type as used in Brian May’s Red Special guitar for Volume
and Tone controls)
Omeg have specially made these pots for Fryer Guitars. They feature
solder tags and ¼” (6.35mm) diameter plastic shaft 3/8” (10mm)
long.
(Standard electric guitar length)
Selected into two categories of ohmic range:
a) To suit Kent Armstrong Burns Tri-Sonic pickups (Currently made
models)
b) To suit old 1960’s Burns Tri-Sonic pickups or Fryer Tri-Sonic
pickups.
Two new pedals have been developed from the Brian May electronics
to suit standard guitars (i.e. Strats, Les Pauls and also BM guitars)
and standard amplifiers (i.e. Fender, Marshall, Boogie, Vox AC30
Brilliant channel etc).
These new two complement the Brian May Fryer “Purple Maze”
Distortion
pedal and give a range of overdriven sounds which range from tube-like
and clean (Sweet Stuff) through to raggedy and very distorted (Pink
Maze).
